Zenyatta 25th Breeders’ Cup Saddle Towel

From the personal collection of John Shirreffs, this finely embroidered saddlecloth was worn by Zenyatta during her morning works leading up to her commanding victory in the 2008 Breeders’ Cup Ladies Classic at Santa Anita Park. The race marked her ninth consecutive victory and the 25th renewal of the year-end championship for fillies and mares.
